A family run friendly place to stay Huxton Wood is a newly refurbished beautiful detached bungalow sat in an acre of gardens with 8 acres of woods behind the house and wonderful extensive countryside views to the front. Views reach as far as Salcombe and East Portlemouth and are quite breathtaking. Being situated half way between Thurlestone and Kingsbridge just off the A379/381 it makes the perfect base for exploring the whole of the fantastic South Hams and all its attractions. Salcombe is only 10 minutes away and there are several local beaches less than 3 miles from our home. Bantham beach with its amazing white sand and famous surf is only 4 miles .
